More of the things I enjoy doing...

This page highlights my affiliation with CTA's ARDYIS program and some of the activities I have participated in over the years. Additionally, there's a little insight into what I love doing as a hobby: Sports Analyst (Soccer and Rugby Commentator) and Radio Jockey for Radio S1 Dhamaka - headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
ARDYIS Activities

I joined the Technical Centre for Agriculture & Rural Cooperation - CTA's Agriculture and Rural Deve-lopment Youths in the Infor-mation Society (ARDYIS) program in 2010 as one of the pioneer members. Since then I have been involved in many of the program's undertakings in the following countries:

Rwanda (Kigali) - 2013
Netherlands (Amsterdam) - 2012
Ghana (Accra) - 2011
South Africa (Jo'burg) - 2010

RJ - BTown Mania and Aloha Masala Mix

When I started pulling soccer commentaries from Fiji for the online 'S1 Dhamaka' radio station, the Programs Director insisted I additionally host a local style top songs of the week countdown show on Saturday nights; live from Fiji with a slot of 11 - 11.30pm Vancouver time. As the popularity of "Fiji's Top 3" grew amongst the Fiji-Indian fraternity in Canada, USA, Australia and NZ - the show started hitting airwaves from 11pm to midnight as "Fiji's Top 5". The move from Fiji to Hawaii has got the show remodelled as Aloha Masala Mix - broadcasted live from here in Honolulu. It is now a 2 hour "Top 20" extravaganza that goes on air from 6 - 8pm. I host another 1 hour show on Friday nights from 7 - 8pm Vancouver time.
Soccer/Rugby Commentator, Analyst

I am passionate about Soccer. As much as I like playing the game, I love  talking about it even more.
The freelance articles and news reports I filed from Fiji for the Surrey, Canada based 'Sportsone' website caught the attention of its sister company - 'Radio S1 Dhamaka'. I joined as the station's Soccer Commentator and Analyst in 2013 and was fondly branded as 'RG'. Apart from commentary, I head the panel for Radio S1 Dhamaka's 'Sports Talkback Show' which takes place every Monday. Having switched to Hawaii for studies, the commentary has temporarily ceased, however, the talkback show roars on.

Master of Ceremony (MC) and Support Singer for the Melodianz Orchestra Group from Nadi, Fiji

I had the opportunity to be asso-ciated with the best Hindi/Bolly- wood orchestra in the Western Division of Fiji.

While my major role in the band was to be the Master of Ceremony (MC) alongside one of the best guys in the trade, I also engaged in support singing.

Our group has performed in numerous paid stage shows as well as weddings, engagements and receptions all over Fiji - booked almost every week.

However, when I started with Soccer commentary - I had to give up on the Orchestra.
